Amazingly soft and gorgeous. Rich blue violet and blushy red with a clear design. My guy likes it. My best friend kept yakking at me about how this was by far the best rug I had ordered for my new house, and I had ordered a dozen or so quite painstakingly. Disappointed. The colors include a lot more pink and purple than shown in any of the pictures. Also the quality of the rug is, IMO, poor. The pattern and colors are very pretty. However, the rug does not appear to have much if any wool as the online description states. The rug has no label to identify manufacturer, fiber content or country of origin. Before buying the rug, I asked if the pile was cut or looped.
