[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always wanted to try a coffee grinder, since hearing that your coffee just tastes better if you grind your own beans right before brewing. Well, they weren't kidding! I don't think I'll ever go back to pre- -ground coffee. I've never tasted a better cup of coffee, than when I just grind the beans before. This grinder is well made and durable. We have used it everyday since getting it, and it has never given any issues. You just put your beans in the top container, which is marked with very clear Maximum line. After doing that you pick from a dial on the side what kind of machine you have such as drip, espresso or press and there are also settings for grind within those choices. After that just pick the amount of cups you are brewing from the dial on the top and press on. The grinder will automatically shut off when the correct amount of coffee has been ground.
When you detach the bottom cup to get your freshly ground coffee, just do it slowly so you don't disturb the fine grounds. It leaves less of a mess that way. I used mine for a drip coffee maker and the grounds seem to be the correct grind.
It comes with a special brush to keep your machine clean and also directions to clean the blades/burr, which you should do frequently.
Pros: gives you a great tasting cup of coffee, grinds evenly and quickly
Cons: can be messy, but just take out container slowly
