This review is just for aesthetics as I can’t speak to longevity. I think the lamp looks exactly as pictured. The wood-look metal and shade can fit a few different types of styles. My home has more of a bohemian mid century decor, and this fits fine. My only complaints are that the shade has a strange smell and because it’s so dark, this lamp doesn’t omit a ton of light. You get a lot of light from the top of the shade, but you don’t get a ton of light from the bottom. I like how when it’s lit, you don’t get light peaking through the weaving of the rattan. I use a smart bulb and adjust the lighting and still find it to be a little dark, so if you are trying to get more light in your room, you may want to find a lamp with a white shade or a cone shape to cast the light downward..
