The rug is very lovely. It is super soft to walk on. The description states it is part wool. It doesnt smell or feel like wool. Only the top of the yarn is dyed. Great look for the price. The description says the material is Wool and Polyester. Compared to the 100% wool rugs I have, this one feels mostly Polyester. Also, I purchased an 8 x 12, and the pattern is quite stretched out compared to this picture, not nearly as pretty. Finally, and probably the most disappointing ... the edges of this rug are all 'off' in terms of the pattern (see pic). I know it was machine made, but it doesn't look like there was any effort to make the edges even, or any quality control. I would not have been surprised by any of these items if this rug were $400, but for $1000, I would have expected better.. Robin. NY. Fri Jan 29 2021
