Beautiful rug but definitely screened on. I asked the sales representative before ordering and she assured me it couldn’t be. Well it is covered with a rubber back so unable to even see how it’s constructed. Very disappointing for the price and the extra warranty is quite a lot. I only purchased the less expensive one. I will definitely be calling Wayfair to discuss. Beautiful but for the price the quality is extremely disappointing. How will this wear, no way to know without seeing it’s actual construction!. Le travail de coloration a été fait sur la base tissée avec des techniques spéciales, et ses franges et bords ont été fabriqués à la main avec un beau travail. I purchased this rug from this vendor because it was on sale for half price and thought I would give it a try because I had bad experiences with another vendor selling the same rug . The only positive thing about this rug was that it didn’t have a horrible smell like the last vendor I dealt with . Once again, I’m dealing with a rug that came 2 inches short in the length and a little over an inch short in the width. The colour was nice on one half of the rug and the other half was all faded out. The worst part was the border of the rug… on the website, it shows a nice gold border with gold fringe .. and the one I got had a cheap looking white stitched edging with NO FRINGE. If I wanted to buy a rug with a white border, I would’ve bought a rug with a white border. And if I wanted a rug that was 58” x 31” I would’ve bought that size .. not to mention the colouration was not consistent even over such a small rug! Regularly priced it is over 600 which is absolutely WAY overpriced for the quality … not to mention that you DON’T get the rug that is advertised.. I am really DISAPPOINTED … and I don’t know if this vendor is going to fix the problem or not .. I will keep you updated…. Janet. Paris, ON. Sat Apr 25 2026
