When I first received this rug, the only pattern that was showing in the package was little flowers. I had to double-check what I ordered, and there were, indeed, little flowers on the inside of the design. However, the description calls it medallion, and I would agree with that description. The neutral colors of beige, tan, and gray make this a rug that would basically go with any decor. I replaced a dark rug with this rug, and I really like that it brightened up the room. It has a very short pile, and the rug feels very soft under your feet. There is a rubber backing that grips the floor, so that helps prevent tripping or slipping on the rug.
