It ended up being perfect for the spot. The finish gives it a patina that resembles a mix of sandstone meets oxidized copper.
Pros extremely well made, solid, looks like it belongs in a European Mediterranean town. The pump is the perfect sizestrength to provide a pleasant steady stream. The sound is mesmerizing. There is an easy enough, but concealed opening in the back to allow for pumplight cords without having to do too many acrobatics. The shipping is so well protected it could probably be hurled from a plane and survive.
Cons it’s delivered on a pallet and it either has to reach its final location in pieces or the opening has to be large enough where a pallet can fithand fork lift can easily access. The pieces are large and extremely heavy. This is not a 1-2 person operation. Expect some need of helpequipment to install it. The bottom basin is probably about 900-1000lbs. The two upper ones with the back was probably another 700lbs (which has to lifted to fit on top of the basin, which in turn is lifted over three separate pieces comprising the bottom-baselegs. You need to have a very clear and precise idea where it’s going because once it’s set down, it will be very difficult to move. The pump tubing requires a little effort to connect, but doable.
