Anything made by Chelsea House is gorgeous. I own a few other pieces by them, and have never been disappointed with any of their items that I have purchased. The yellow is more yellow than the chartreuse yellow that appears on the website , and it's not a solid, evenly painted yellow. Some areas are a little translucent , some more opaque, which gives the finish more depth and dimension. The gold trim is shinier than in the picture. Expertly painted and exquisite design. As with all Chelsea House products, this one is stunning! Arrived in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks.
