I really do love the look of this artwork, and it looks beautiful above my fireplace. However, I was disappointed to discover that the “texture” is only part of the printed image on the canvas. From the listing photos and the description calling it “textured,” I expected the wave to have actual raised, 3D texture and dimension.
Maybe I misunderstood the description, but the photos definitely gave me the impression that the wave would physically stand out from the canvas. In person, it is a flat canvas print designed to look textured.
I’m keeping it because I genuinely like how it looks in my space, but I would not have spent over 400 on it had I realized it was simply a printed canvas. For the price, I was expecting actual texture and dimension. I think the listing could be much clearer about this so buyers know exactly what they’re purchasing.. Lindsay. Aldergrove, BC.
