I have mixed feelings about this rug. My first impression wasn't great because the print looks very artificial. Instead of looking like a woven rug, it almost looks like a photograph of an oversized woven texture printed onto the surface. Once I got it on the floor and placed my furniture on it, it looked much better, but the print still isn't my favorite.
The rug itself is different than I expected. It doesn't really have a traditional pile or nap—it's more of a soft, felt-like fuzz. The surface is smooth enough that furniture slides across it fairly easily (without feeling slippery to walk on). The backing is a grippy, rubber-like material that holds very well on my hardwood floors, which I really appreciate.
One thing to know is that it arrives folded into a square instead of rolled. I was worried about the creases, but after just one day with furniture on it, most of the wrinkles have worked themselves out. I'm hoping the remaining ones disappear over the next few days.
Overall, I'm happy with how the rug functions. It stays in place, feels comfortable, and seems practical. My only real complaint is the printed design, which looks less natural than I expected. If the appearance doesn't bother you, it seems like a solid rug so far.. Carla. Sequim, WA. Tue Aug 04 2026
