Not perfect but its nice. I really want to give it 3.5 stars for 3 reasons. One, instructions were NOT clear. They tell you to connect a hose which is a short, 2 sided tube with a twisting part in the middle (which youll learn later is to adjust the water flow). They dont specify which side goes where but it really only fits one way. Two, you cant adjust it when the top and bottom are together so I did some trial and error with adjusting it, sitting the top on the base without securing it, turning it on, turning it off, trying to spill water out of the top but not on the ground, taking the top off carefully and setting it on the base so you can reach the adjuster, reaching in carefully to adjust it (how Who knows Pick a direction!), then repeat. Once you just pick one (not sure I see a difference) then you can secure it with very visible and shiny screws and put the decorative rocks on top, of which there is BARELY enough of in the bag. It gives you a thin layer and you can carefully position it so the screws are hidden. Its also a little too loud and I also realized if it rains and you dont have it covered its going to be overflowing and possibly full of debris as the part at the top is open. So you probably want this under an awning or a covered patio (maybe this is an indoor fountian and I misread it). Its still nice. Itll add a decorative touch to my patio, which it desperately needs. I just think this will be going in the garage except for parties. Though we hope one day to have a proper covered patio. Maybe Ill add more rocks to make it quieter and a softer sound Ill google to see if there are tricks. It makes a nice appearance! Hopefully itll hold up. My 12 year old loves it so theres that..
