I ordered 2 of these nightstands and love both. They feel solid, seem to be well-designed overall, and fit the look I was going for.
They do take a bit of time to build - theres 31 pieces of metal and MDF in total, and scads of fasteners of several types. For the first one I didnt time myself exactly, but did manage to watch the movie Christine from beginning to end, as well as 23rds of the original Fright Night, both with commercials LOL
I cant give 5 stars for the product, though, for this reason While the first went together perfectly, the second one seemed ... sloppier, for lack of a better word. The white paint wasnt as even in appearance or color, and some pieces didnt fit together as snuggly. The worst though was the secret compartment on back - I had to remove and tear it apart 3 times to sand down 3 pieces a full 116th of an inch (either they were cut too big or the pre-drilled holes were in the wrong place), move the position of the metal sliders, and drill new holes for the backer board because the compartment just. would. not. close. flush with the frame. 2 hours later after fiddling with it, it works like it should, but if I had opened and assembled that 1 first, I would have sent the other back unopened.
