Overall, I'm really happy with this outdoor conversation set. Assembly took me about 3 hours, but this is pretty much a full assembly project. I also managed to put a piece on backward (which is very on brand for me), so I had to take it apart and redo it, which added some time. The instructions are fairly straightforward, although there were a couple of diagrams where it was hard to tell which way a piece was supposed to face. All the holes lined up correctly, though, and all the parts were included.
One thing I would definitely recommend is using a hex bit on a drill. It comes with an Allen wrench, but assembly would take forever that way.
The style is a nice mix of rustic and contemporary and should work with a lot of different outdoor spaces. I did notice a few gray scratches on some of the black metal pieces and one small dent on a wood-look panel. Also, the wood-look finish is a little more golden/orange in person than I was expecting and doesn't look quite as realistic as real wood, but it still looks nice overall once everything is assembled. There is also only the graining coloration on the outside of the wood look pieces and not on the inside which I find odd, but I am very critical of anything trying to look like wood.
The seat cushions are comfortable and feel supportive without being too firm. The seats are also nice and deep, which is great for lounging. The cushions seem to be water repellent, and I haven't noticed them sliding around.
My biggest complaint is the back cushions. They just need a little more fullness. Because the seats are fairly deep, I find myself leaning back quite a bit if my feet are flat on the ground. I'm 5'5", so taller people may not notice this as much. I think a lumbar pillow or a couple of throw pillows would make a big difference. I did also steam the fabric on the back cushions because they were wrinkled.
Other than that, the set feels sturdy. I don't notice any wobbling or flex in the frame, and it feels like it should hold up well over time.
If the back cushions were a little thicker, it would be a 5-star review for me.. Rachel. Sat Jun 13 2026
