Overall The piece is beautiful, sturdy, and substantial. It definitely has a high-end, expensive feel. I’m using mine at the end of my king-size bed for extra storage rather than as a TVentertainment center.
The expandable top can be switched from left to right at any time since it isn’t attached to the piece. I sit on the floor when I get ready each day, and when turned 90 degrees, it also works really well as a temporary table.
Assembly It was easy to put together, but it’s important to follow the instructions closely, especially Step 9. There’s a helpful sticker on the base to remind you, but if you ignore it like I did the first time, you’ll have to undo 12 B pieces once you get to Step 11. Having a strong magnet nearby was helpful.
