The color was not what I was hoping for, but more importantly, I was disappointed with the quality; to look at it, it could have been 'quality plastic' (and it didn't feel a whole lot heavier than that.) I realize it is priced lower than most of the gold-colored sets, but I wanted this to use with gold-trimmed china, and it definitely didn't feel like a 'nicer' place setting.. Sgg. Geneseo, IL.
