Wanted to replace an old canister light with a chandelier. The chandelier we picked out had a square, not the traditional round, canopy assembly. Once the can light was removed, we found that the square canopy would not completely cover the round hole. Rather than trying to patch up the ceiling, we found this medallion! The ability to order a custom-sized piece was so helpful. All surfaces were somewhat rough but it wasnt an issue for us since it was going to be installed on a two story ceiling. I did prime it and put one coat of semi gloss on it which smoothed it out a bit.
