Sooo, I was so excited about this piece and it totally delivered. I remembered reading in the reviews how the predrilled holes weren’t lining up for some for the shelf. I ignored and then same thing happened to me. I had to improvise to cover the gap seen in the first pic. It worked out and I’m very happy with it still! Afterwards, I realized that I had switched the panels from how they’re supposed to be. Just pay attention because it matters which panel you put on either side. If they panels aren’t butting up next to each other like they should be when screwing in the shelf (first step), then switch them!
