I love this bench. It cames unfinished and it's very dry. I used teak oil to protect the wood. The photo shows it after I rubbed it with the teak oil. There are a few things I want you to know. 1. The center legs are somewhat shorter than the outer legs. 2. It's delicate and somewhat fragile. I have a small crack in one piece. 3. This is 78 inches, really large and beautiful. I was looking for a slightly smaller porch bench than what we had prior. This one fit the bill. There is actually quite a bit of assembly required...but I have a handy husband, so it was doable.
