This is an exquisitely coordinated set which includes the shams and decorative pillows! It is very well-made with different patterns that highly compliment one another. I purchased two twin sets which allows for me to complete each bed with a different arrangement of fabrics on the double-sided throw pillows. The set is made to accommodate thicker mattresses and the top sheet is sewn to expose the pattern “on top” without making the bed with the top sheet on the under side of the sheet. The reason I selected four stars is the coverlet could have a bit more filling to make it thicker. I have been looking to replace a favorite quilt that is so old it is coming apart. I thought this may be the one. It is not exactly what I had hoped for. The material is burlap-y, not soft and smooth like I hoped. It also has a smell that I think is from the dye. I am going to attempt wash it in the hopes that it will be better. The label says it is washable in delicate so that is what I will do. I was also a bit disappointed that for the high price it would come with pillow shams.
