This fan light is a work of art, beautifully crafted of strong materials and exquisite glass panels. The pine cones (not so visible here) and straw are wonderfully wrought, and it's a first-class execution in every way. Installation was easy for our guy who helps us with this sort of thing, and it is a perfect addition to our fireplace family room. Pricey, yes, but with this quality and creativity, one doesn't mind.
I have one observation for Meyda: if there's plenty of ambient light (daylight or a light fan/ceiling), the sculptural elements are readily visible. In our case, the fan is dark, in the same tone exactly as the light kit, and the ceiling is also on the dark side, so we are looking for a way to light the cones and straw. Designer: is there a way to leave out a few of the glass panels on the topside of the globes to illuminate the exquisite design work? Just an idea.. Ted. Moberly, MO. Sun Jan 25 2026
