The weight and shape is great and it’s easy to sweep with a broom or vacuum. The construction is sturdy and the ends don’t fray. The price point is good. With a rug pad, they are comfy underfoot and will not slip. I bought two for my kitchen to cover the old flooring until we can replace it - the former owners laid 15” tile without a new subfloor - aka constantly cracking tiles and broken grout coming out. Why 4 stars instead of 5 Lovely at first - beautiful colors and pattern. However, our kitchen is galley style with an exterior door. It gets a ton of foot traffic plus our high desert climate imports a ton of dust. If you plan to use this in a high traffic area and are a “shoes on” household, I’d think twice. Our rugs began to look worn even with vacuuming and faded unevenly in areas,. Foot traffic tends to work in residue and mutes the bright colors even with daily cleaning. I learned the hard way that the aren’t fully colorfast. Using an olive oil soap and a damp sponge, the color faded with light rubbing. (I will own this one since I may not have picked up on this care caution in the description.) Blotting works better but it’s not practical if the rug is large. Overall, I like them and I would buy again, just for a less high traffic interior space like an office or enclosed sun room. It’s a classic design and lovely colorway that it meets our needs well..
