Bed quite sturdy. Took me a couple hours to put together. Being all metal, it went together easily. I thought I was going to have to screw in each individual mattress support but they simply slip into a snug fitting. The bed is lower than my previous bed since it does not require a box spring but it supports my mattress well and does not make any structural sound. No wobble or noise comes from the bed when I lie down. I thought I'd might be able to use my box spring but it would have been too high and covered up the headboard shelf. The shelf outlet works well but the self adhesive strip light is already falling. I'll have to secure it again. The lower drawers are lightweight but put together nicely and slide easily under the bed. Probably too easily.. oh, there is no backboard for the shelf area so be careful when placing item on it.
