It might be too soon to tell but I tested the fan speeds after installing the hood and the force of the fan blew the damper pieces out of position. The fam also gets quite loud after the 3rd setting, and the difference sound-wise, between the 1st and 2nd, and 2nd and 3rd settings, is pronounced. My rating reflects the fan operation; in terms of appearance and installation, I'd give it a 5.
