The size is good if it's for you and your dog
If you're specifically buying this for the dryer function, this is not a good option. The learning curve for this machine is not super intuitive. I had many fails for the correct pressure and setup. If you tend do do more hot water, I find that the plastic smell is overwhelming...I mostly do cold washes unless it's towels, sheets, etc.
Pros: cleans clothes very well, different options for programming, you can pause and add items in if you forgot, filter picks up a lot of hair.
Cons: the song that plays at the end of a load is so load and annoying, the dryer function is terrible ( I normally try to add an additional spin, because otherwise it's a waste of energy for the amount of time they put the program on tumble dry), it doesn't have wheels (I put teflon bottoms on each corner and now it's not as painful to move), it's a challenge to get all the water out of the machine (with a previous portable washer, I could tip it and get mostly everything out), the drain hose is super flimsy and when this arrived the plastic attachment to hang the hose came broken.
