I recently purchased a replacement range hood for my kitchen. The instructions that come with it said that it not all models include the damper, but it gave the part number. I searched around online, and Wayfair had a competitive price. This part is exactly what was needed. Some of the reviews claimed it was loud, but I have not noticed that. There is a metallic noise when the damper opens and another when it closes, but it doesn't continually flap. I like being able to hear that it is working. Pros: Easy to install Cons: None
