UPDATED 17 Nov 2025 I finally am in my home and I just ran it for the VERY FIRST TIME 2 days ago. I AM BEYOND DISAPPOINTED IN THE NOISE LEVEL. Equator claims this is 51dB. That is 1 dB above what is considered a quiet dishwasher. When I first turned it on, it actually read 59dB and I think higher, but I couldn’t figure out how to record. So, I finally figured it out and made a video about 5-8 minutes into the full cycle. The video runs for just around 1minute and 45 seconds. During the video for 1-5 seconds it might drop down for 12 a second to 51dB. But the majority of the time it was 56dB and higher. This is a one room livingbedroom with kitchenette. At these noise levels, it will be very difficult for a guest to sleep, watch tv, listen to music, or read with these sound levels. I still haven’t needed to see how well it cleans. I guess I should bring down some soiled dishes and put the whole dishwasher through its paces. I bought an extended 5-year warranty and I wonder if the fact the dB is so much higher would qualify for a repair. I will be interested how Equator justifies the dB claim. I may never have a guest to use this, but I specifically and most importantly was looking for a quiet small dishwasher- and this is NOT THAT! You will see from the review a 1-2 years back they called, but didn’t say why. I plan to reach out to Equator, or hope they read this and reach out to me! AS STATED IN INITIAL REVIEW ON LOOKS AND WHAT COMPANY CLAIMED Down from 5 stars for appearance and believing what Equator claimed. Sorry if my initial review led anyone else to purchase this, but I did say it was still aways from being installed. I purchased this narrow dishwasher for the guest room in my home. It is a detached room with a kitchenette. I hoped for a dishwasher, but didn’t really know if they made a smaller version than the 24”. I was happy to find it. They label this a “quiet” dishwasher. I note that a quiet dishwasher is considered BELOW 50 decibels. I am hopeful when installed, in the next month or two it will be quiet enough to have on while still being in the room. I was particularly impressed with the number of wash programs. Most of the other 18” I found had just one or two- this has 8. It is ADA accessible which is important to me. I am totally unfamiliar with the brand of dishwasher and am hopeful it will hold up, as this will be lightly used in the guest room. I did immediately inspect for any exterior damage upon delivery with the delivery personnel watching. It came in excellent shape. I repackaged it as we are still 1-2 months away from installation in the new house. I did buy the 5 year warranty just to have extra protection since I do not know the quality. But for looks, I am delighted. Time will tell if this is the good purchase I hope it is. I did have a message from equator on my phone the other day, but they didn’t tell me why they were calling. I suspect they were just calling to see if I liked it or needed help, but as the call seemed to be cut off, I do not know why the manufacturer would be calling.

Love how it looks - needed to order a new smaller dishwasher because 1960 dishwasher size not 2024 standard dishwasher size and both would not fit into new kitchen space. Made the assumption that all dishwashers were standard no matter the year made (WRONG) height is a big factor I now know that needed to be considered in installing new counter top and back splash. So I had to pay twice the amount for a smaller dishwasher that would fit :( This was the choice is looks beautiful in the space, and I like that it is stainless steel inside.

It cleans well and is surprisingly quiet! It is small but plenty for a couple. The biggest negative is the lower rack is too narrow for the frame and does not glide when pulling the rack out to loadunload- meaning it falls off the ledge and gets off kilter. I don’t know if there is a different lower rack that can be sent or altered somehow

This is a cute little dishwasher that works great in a small kitchen. I haven’t run it as this is a house I am selling. But definitely a space saver.
