I love that these filters are so easy to change and that the service I got from ordering my supplies was easy.

I used the original filter for a very long time since I couldn't find a retailer who carried it, not even where I purchased the vacuum. I was pleasantly surprised to find this, and other parts, very reasonably priced thru Eureka's web site so I purchased 2. unfortunately the first one I'm currently using, I believe, is defective. the pleats in the filter are flaking. looks like scales on all the pleats, and using a soft brush doesn't remove them. I am now going to put in the second, brand new, filter and see if this one does the same. the original filter didn't flake, that is why I believe this particular filter is defective.
