We purchased this recessed range hood largely because of the price point, and we’ve been pleasantly surprised by how high-quality it feels and how well it performs. We installed it inside a custom stone vent hood, mounted over my 48” Gordon Ramsay stove by Thor, and it has exceeded expectations. The unit looks and feels sturdy, and it easily keeps up with the heat and smoke from a professional-style range. The suction power is strong yet surprisingly quiet, even on the higher settings. One detail to be aware of is that this hood has two exhausts that must be combined into one fitting before venting outside. Most units only have one exhaust, so my installer needed a few extra parts to finish the job. It wasn’t a problem, and actually explains why the airflow is so effective—it pulls from both sides rather than just the center, which makes a big difference with a 48” stove. The hood has three fan settings—low, medium, and high—as well as a separate button for the four lights across the top. The lighting adds a nice touch, although in our case the quartz backsplash slightly blocks them. We debated carving small notches in the stone for full visibility, but ultimately decided it wasn’t necessary. It’s only been about a month since installation, so I haven’t had to change or clean the baffle filters yet, but they look heavy-duty and easy to remove. For the price, this range hood delivers incredible value and performance. Highly recommend!

I have a Forno range and ordered this range hood for install at our new home being built. Though it hasn't been installed yet, I anticipate there will be no issues. Forno has a good reputation and this was the best price for the size I found anywhere.
