We are so disappointed our builder selected amd installed this hood. The noise is worse than most commercial kitchens I have been in. We cannot hold a conversation while using it and have opted to risk the smoke detectors acticating instead of using this while cooking. Frigidaire, come on!

Light still works, shows that it is not short circuit / breaker problem. Just within 9 months, the super loud fan failed.

If Professional means like a commercial kitchen hood loud , it is! Impossible to hold a conversation while running at any speed!
