Delivered December 8 , today is March 22, it doesn’t heat anything

While in hospital (early 2025) I arranged a handyman to buy this microwave and install it for me as I am unable to do so myself. After checking prices from the hospital bed I picked this GE not expecting anything wonderful but just a normal microwave as I’ve never had a “bad” microwave, there are lots of different brands with microwaves at this price point. This is a piece of junk, you won’t believe how loud it is. I can’t believe any appliance manufacturer would put their name on it. The fan is easily 10x louder than any microwave I’ve ever had, you literally can’t hear the tv over it ( open concept) I’m injured and not working so I can’t even uninstall it without help if I could afford a different microwave. I’m not even mentioning the thing doesn’t have the basic features like “ dinner plate” but has “butter” ??? I should of paid better attention I just didn’t think to look for things I thought were obvious since the 80’S I feel like I got ripped off, I genuinely do. I will never trust GE again. I was going to use my credit card to get a matching stove, fridge and dishwasher thank god I decided to just replace the nuke and wait until I was back to work to get the rest. If you had company over you’d be embarrassed to use it, I’m not joking it’s an absolute embarrassment.

I bought this microwave in 2022 and the door latch broke. It hasn't been 2 full years

Poor build quality. The plastic latch for the door wore out after only three years of regular use. Now I know why GE only offers one year of warranty! This product is cheaply built using substandard components.

I have never seen a microwave‘s handle break off when opening the door. Where am I to get a new one?
