I bought this dryer Nov.2025. I have had service more times than I can recall… The lint gets all over my clothes. They have replaced every part multiple times, still does it. They gave me an extended warranty . Why??? Because they know there is a problem!!! I want a new dryer and they are giving me the run around. DON”T BUY THIS DRYER!!!!!

We love this technology. New again will your cloths have that musty smell because you forgot to put cloths in dryer. My laundry room is never hot and smelly.

After 2 years my washer/dryer combo is done. Due to faulty lint trap areas, and several other factors of how they built the machine. It essentially couldn’t be fixed without costing more than the machine actually cost and no guarantee that it would fix the issue. Our tech from GE told us these machines are not for families or pets. I feel like this was such a waste of money the fact I have to buy a new machine 2 years after purchase is so ridiculous

Very disappointing drying performance and repeated failures I have owned this GE Profile UltraFast Combo for about a year, and unfortunately the drying system has been extremely unreliable. The dryer has stopped drying properly approximately six times in the past year. Each time, cleaning the machine and/or unplugging it would temporarily restore the drying function, but the problem would return a few months later. Now the problem has become significantly worse. The machine gets extremely hot and produces a lot of steam, but the clothes remain soaking wet. I tested it with a single towel for 30 minutes. The towel was extremely hot and dripping wet, with a substantial amount of steam inside the drum. Water was draining normally and there was no error code. At this point, it can essentially dry only a very small load such as a few washcloths, while towels remain wet. I also found dampness around the bottom of the evaporator coil area behind the lint filter. For a machine at this price point, I expected much better reliability. The convenience of having a washer and dryer in one unit is great when it works, but repeatedly losing the drying function is a major problem. I am now having to pursue warranty service to determine what is wrong with the heat-pump drying system. I would strongly recommend that potential buyers research the long-term drying reliability and service experience before spending this much on the machine.
