Upon delivery, CHECK THE PRODUCT!!! 1st unit had some kind of defect in the finish. Ordered a replacement, this one had a big dent and seemed like a open box. So order a 3rd unit... fingers crossed...

This has worked out great we had a electrician install this. I enjoy the three-speed fan for low medium and high it appropriately pulls up the steam and smells of cooking. I really enjoy the feature that you can pull the grates down to be able to clean all of the grease off. The only tricky part is getting in between the slats as there's no way to completely disassemble those that I've been able to figure out at least so you do need to soak them for a while and use a sponge in between each slat so it is a little time-consuming but typically have only done it like four times a year. The metal can be quite sure if I did cut myself so be cautious. The lights that are built into this I don't think would be bright enough to illuminate an area we had additional lights put in to our nook. The fan itself is not terribly loud you can definitely hear it but it's more quiet than our last one and I don't think it's reasonable to think a fan is going to make no noise. Overall happy with this and would purchase another one if this broke for some reason. We have had this for almost 3 years now and it works like new.

Just installed today. I realized after installed that the back slightly hangs lower than the front, so you see the steel filter. Not a big deal but I had imagined it to be flush like in the second pic i posted from above. ordered this because it was advertised as 900 CFM, I’m a tad skeptical of the suction power but I also haven’t cooked anything yet. I only did a paper test and so far the paper sticks to the exhaust.
