It is powerful and low noise. We have an open kitchen and the living room always get smelly after cooking. But with the Pro500, we haven't smell much in any other rooms in our house. And my hair never smell like cooking anymore. I am very happy with this purchase!

Pro500SS - we recently installed this hood ourselves and was ab easy install. The instructions were easy to follow. We are very satisfied with this hood. The exhaust is really good, easy to use contol panel and we like how it looks in our kitchen. We previously had a microwave hood combo and was not good. This model has 4 strength settings and can be controlled by a wave of the hand and by bluetooth. Its easy to clean. We definitely would recommend this product to family and friends.

Great product! I’ve had the Pro500 for over a year. Purchased for my log home renovation and I must say, even how the hood was packaged was impressive. Fit and finish on the PRO was outstanding. The hood runs quiet on Low and Medium which is all that is needed most times. High and Max speeds pull everything in when deglazing. Even on max there no vibrations, the fan is that well balanced. Mounting was straightforward because it comes with a hardwood ledger board that gets mounted to wall first, which the hood hangs on. Notable design features that may not be advertised which really impressed me. A Well made spring loaded damper at the top of the hood that seals the vent when the fan is off, stopping drafts. In time, All hoods will get greasy inside. The Pro’s designers made cleaning this beast easy. I just did a thorough cleaning of the hood after heavy holiday use. The vent grates have a collection gutter at the bottom, which slides out, nice touch. Vent grates go in the dishwasher. 2 screws release the light panel. Unplug the LED light connector by pressing the tab. Very easy! This allows full access to wipe down the inside of the hood. The fan housing has a drain hole at the bottom. If you see oil there it might be a sign that the squirrel cage fan needs to be cleaned. They thought of that too. There is knurled knob holding the fan on, which has “loosen tighten” directions printed on it, allows for easy removal. Fan, goes in the washer too. Reassembly is cake as well. Just make sure you seat the fan onto the drive pin on the motor shaft. Last thing, The electronics board in the hood is even sealed in a plastic box for longevity. The contractor installed it with ease, which was a relief. This thing is powerful! It handles all the smoke and smells from my cooking with ease. Whether I'm frying bacon or cooking a stir-fry, the kitchen air stays fresh. Plus, it's not too noisy, even on the higher settings, which is a big plus. The touch controls are easy to use, and the LED lights are bright and make it easier to see what I'm cooking. The filters are simple to take out and clean, which is great because I don’t want to spend a lot of time on maintenance. I’m really happy with this range hood. It’s made cooking much more enjoyable and my kitchen looks better too. If you’re looking for a new range hood, I highly recommend this range hood!
