I really wanted to like this ice maker, but it is truly not what I had imagined.  I am sure it is just the right product for some people and for certain uses, but I don’t think it’s for me. I thought the compact size was nice but of course that means the water and ice capacity are small too. The water reservoir takes up to four cups of water, and it takes about 40 to 45 minutes to make the ice. I did like the shape and size of the ice “cubes” (not really cubes) and the system itself is pretty clever. It is a little bit on the loud side when it is pumping water and making the ice. You have to use or transfer the ice to a cooler or the freezer in your regular fridge or it will simply melt and then the same water gets pumped to make into ice again. So, between having to refill the ice machine with water, transferring the ice or having it melt and remade again, I don’t think this will work for me. It would probably work well for a camping trip (obviously for sites that have electric hookups) or an RV. I just don’t think this is the one for me.

Ive always wanted an ice maker but never had the counter space, even for a small one. Now I do in our new house and the size is perfect for us. Its just the 2 of us and it makes just enough ice for us, not too much. 2 weeks now using it and I highly recommend it!

This compact countertop ice maker is a perfect addition to my kitchen. Our ice maker in our refrigerator makes these very tiny little cubes that over time just clump together. I have started using the old style ice trays to get cubes that are size-able and don’t become frosty. Now that I have this dandy little ice maker I can make fresh cubes in a flash. It will be great for everyday use and provide plenty of cubes for entertaining. Easy to use!

I really, really gave this machine a good shot because I was forcing myself to like it. It’s not great. I only gave it two stars because it makes the ice that I like. The compartment that holds the ice is not cooled, so unless you take the ice cubes out immediately, they melt. It also leaks terribly. The only time you can use it is to make the ice you need and then shut it off.

this is a nice one person ice maker! it’s very easy to operate. i probably wont be able to clean it as often as it recommends but i will do my best. it stopped working once already but i just unplugged it, drained it, dried it, and started all ofer. it seemed to work just fine! using cold water is best and it will give you perfect bullet ice within minutes! if you leave yhe ive for a long time it will melt.
