Just about the size of a coffee maker. Didn’t take long to start making ice. The ice maker on our refrigerator is broken but the rest of the appliance is just fine. This is a great quick fix to get my ice. I am very happy with my purchase.

I think if you're having a party, it would be a good addition to have handy. The ice cubes come out quickly and having the little scoop inside is great. An unexpected bonus is that it is SO FUN to watch do its thing. The water tray fills up, the freezing tubes form the ice, the water disperses, then the little ice tubes fall from the freezing tubes, and a little sweeper sweeps them into the holding tray. If you like watching how things work, you'll love this!
