I was really looking forward to this commercial fridge, but the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. On Wayfair, the order clearly stated no signature required and that the item could be left at delivery. Despite this, FedEx refused to drop it off. From Monday through Wednesday, I received three consecutive “failed delivery attempt” notices. I called FedEx multiple times to correct the issue, but nothing was resolved. I finally received the fridge on Thursday- four days later. When I opened the package, the fridge was dented on multiple corners and sides. The packaging was extremely poor and looked like the unit had been tossed around during transit. It’s hard to tell whether the damage happened during shipping or at the warehouse, but either way, this should not arrive in this condition. On top of that, the design itself is problematic. The door suction is so strong that every time I open it, the entire fridge rolls forward on its wheels, which is not practical or safe for commercial use. Between the delivery issues, lack of communication between Wayfair and FedEx, poor packaging, visible damage, and flawed design, I’ve now lost an entire week only to have to return the item. Wayfair and FedEx need better coordination, clearer delivery instructions, and much better quality control on packaging and shipping.
