Warning: this product is non-returnable. It’s too loud for use in a living space. It produced a solid slab of ice that is difficult to break into cubes. It does make ice fast but fills up too quickly because the holding container is tiny. Would not recommend.

This machine worked fine up until just recently . I never used tap water in it . Always spring or distilled water . When it did quit working I called customer service and they gave me several steps to take to fix the problem , said if it did not remedy the problem machine was worn out , I called a repair place to see about having it repaired and they advised to throw it away and buy a new one . With labor and parts it would likely cost as much as a new one if it could ever be repaired. Final thought , nothing against this brand , but best advice . Buy a cheap machine , get the extended warranty. It will cost less than buying ice over that period of time , when warranty is up and machine is toast , prepare to buy a new one

I bought this for my husband a couple of years ago. We love it! We go through alot of ice but don't like the tap water refrigerator ice so opted to get this and use distilled water in it. This little unit keeps up with our ice needs very well and we love the size of the cubes.

I have bought 3 different portable ice makers over the last 5 years and this one is by far the nicest one. The speed at which it makes ice is very quick, it is very quick, and it looks nice on my counter.

Use this all the time, drain when not in use. Great for company they dont go in your refrigerator.
