Newair Countertop Ice Maker, 50 lbs. of Ice a Day

UPDATE we are STILL using this ice maker 4 YEARS later so I’ve updatedchanged from 4 to 5 stars. Produces a batch of ice about every 10 minutes, but it has been a life saver during parties and small gatherings. I bought ice bags, and I’ll bag the ice to keep extra in our freezer.

Love this ice maker. Makes a ton of ice, would definitely recommend it!

This is awesome. We use it in the camper. Makes ice super fast. Very convenient to have around.

Just received ice maker and it doesn’t work. Please refund money.

First one stopped working after a few days. Wayfair se t another one asap. About a year later and that one no longer works.

ice takes forever to form constantly refilling ice will melt if not used right away ice cubes are too small

I don’t feel that actually makes 50lb. of ice daily. It does make ice fairly slow and we are using it., but I believe it to kinda suck for an ice maker that suppose to make 50 a day. Also, the addition of water does have a auto reset. That would make for a better option than shutting it off and turning it back on to clear the alert.

It doesn’t produce ice consistently.

Real disappointing!! Poor design does not allow the ice to freely fill the basket, so the ice perches on the edge, blocking the sensor. Then it 'thinks' it is full of ice and stops producing. This is rated to make 50# of ice but only if you tend it constantly and clear the ice. We are discarding it; Not worth trying to resell.

Bought this for my husband for his birthday as we have filtered water to our fridge so we never have enough ice so this was perfect and quickly makes ice!
