The thing I love about my Stanley cup, is I can fill it with ice in the morning and then keep refilling it with water throughout the day and the ice stays frozen at least through three water refills. I have a chronic illness and getting enough water is mandatory. When I saw this ice mold I was excited thinking Id be able to get more water in my cup and the solid ice would stay. Unfortunately the ice only lasted through 1.5 water refills before it was all melted. It was also really hard to get the ice out of the molds and broke.

I have to admit I was curious about this latest fad, so I took the plunge. Well, unless you love a good wrestling match with your ice cube tray, I would say move along and wait for the next fad. The concept is interesting and the ice cubes keep your beverage nice and cold. But, my take is that it isn’t worth the hassle. We are constantly on the go and there just isn’t time for that nonsense.

Tried 2 times and each time I had a hard time getting the ice out of the mold. Tried to peel the ice out struggled so much it half melted. Tried to put hot water in the bin but again had to struggle to get the cones out and it was very complicated. The bin cover does not stay shut.

I just received my3pcs large silicone cylinder ice cube mold. They will be a perfect addition to my bar at home. I like the that they are large and we don't need to keep adding ice to drinks. One cube will be enough for a drink.

We were so excited to get this super cool cup for our Stanley, but the level of difficulty getting the ice cubes out of the package makes me think that I will not be using this again and it will be going straight into the garbage. Very disappointing with the complexity of removing ice cubes I would not recommend.
