We really wanted to like this range because the oven has been great, but the induction cooktop has been very disappointing. The biggest issue is that the burners cycle on and off very aggressively. It’s difficult to maintain a steady simmer, and even boiling water noticeably stops and starts. The large burner also heats the center of the pan much more intensely than the outside, which has caused food to burn in the middle. We’ve tried several different induction-compatible pans, including heavier cookware, and Rangaire also sent us an induction heat diffuser to try. Unfortunately, none of that made much difference. We also own a Duxtop countertop induction burner, and the same cookware performs much better on that unit with much smoother power control. For a range advertised as offering precise induction cooking and steady simmering, this has been frustrating. We like the oven and the overall appearance of the range, but based on our experience, the cooktop performance has been a major disappointment.

3 stars because Rangaire does not have a griddle insert for the griddle burner! Why not? We were unable to find a universal griddle that would fit most ovens due to the size. I don't think we would have purchased if we had this information. Frustrating. However, everything else about the stove is good.

All good. Works as intended 3 weeks into use. Small hiccup on the propane jet sizes sent, but was rectified in a couple of days. Excited to put it to use.

We were in the market for an induction range and many new models no longer use knobs to regulate burner output.. call me old but the knobs to me provide a visual reference from a distance if its on, off and even the setting. . push button only ranges obviously do not.. to each his own ... .right? Anyway this range has alot of nice features you would find in more expensive models.. the integrated meat thermometer is a nice feature as well as the sliding oven shelf. The burner configuration with the largest one towards the back seems more practical. Comes pre wired for a 4 prong outlet as well. To be fair the use and install docs could be better but overall a very good value and recommended.
