Cooktop is beautiful. Heavy, looks high end. The quality is very nice. Shipping was fast. Came packed nicely. I am waiting to have it professionally installed in my countertop after getting new counters. I can’t wait to see it all hooked up and usable. I will update when it’s installed.

I am using this cooktop for my outdoor kitchen. It has a lot of power and since it's outside, I'm not all that concerned with it not having an auto-shutoff if the flame is extinguished, as some modern cooktops do. If that is a concern for you, look elsewhere. The main (large) burner outputs more BTUs than any other residential grade cooktop I've ever used. That is why I got it! Even though the cooktop comes with a WOK ring, none of the burners will produce nearly enough flame to properly use one (not even close). I knew that going in and as long as you are using this cooktop for regular boiling, heating up and saut?©ing, you will be fine.

I haven't installed it yet, because it isn't going in until after the remodel, so this review is based just on visual inspection. It looks beautiful, and it seems to be built very well. It is heavy, so I'm assuming the company used thicker materials. It looks like it is going to be an easy installation as well.

So I like this cooktop and it wasn't terribly difficult to install. I did have to adapt the fitting that was already there, but my old one was plumbed with a flare nut that didn't seem to have a standard threaded adapter. I also had to cut my counter a little bit to make room for this one's body, but of course yours might be different. Just pay attention to the sizes and be aware you might have to do the same. So, as to functionality it's great and the flames can be adjust from "low" to "burn your eyelids off". However, there is one thing I don't like and that would be the grill tines/splines or whatever you want to call them. They are really tall and it looks a little odd to me, but that's just compared to my old burner that had a more recessed top. But I am also not a fan of how far away the arms are from each other and how few of them they are. It's not a big deal with a regular 12" skillet, but a tea kettle or smaller pot has to be set in the very middle or you risk it tipping over. My other top had round arms that supported pretty much any size pot/pan without a possibility of tipping over. So, I'd say compare the price, features and oddities of this one with others before deciding whether this one is worth it.
