With all that being said, it is very loud. Beyond level 3, the sound is unbearably loud. It was supposed to be one of the quietest one in the market and that is misleading. The light source is so weak that i can barely see what I am cooking without turning on all the lights in my kitchen. The other thing is trying to understand the manual, though it was written in English also, I could barely understand some of it. A lot of guess work when reading the instruction. Price is not cheap but it does the work getting rid of smoke and odor, so far. I dont regret buying it because I think the performance is solid but if they dont improve the sound n the light source...would I buy another one? UnfortunatelyI hv to say no.
