I have had this electric cooktop for less than one year. When it works, it is fine. There are two problems with this. When the cooktop gets wet i.e. a boiling pot will drop condensation onto the cooktop, then the cooktop will power off. So you have to let the burners cool, then wipe them down and turn on the unit again. The second problem is that when you wipe the cooktop with a wet cloth, the cooktop displays an error code of d0 and you cannot power on the unit until the code goes away. If the code remains, then you have to cut off the braker to t cooktop then turn it back on before the error code can reset. Samsung does not see this as a problem and it is not covered under warranty. I do not recommend this product - unless you never cook on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two months ago and happy that it fitted existing counter opening. Pros: Easy Install. Looks modern. Easy to use and clean. Heats up and cool down quickly. Like Sync element and knob control. Cons: Shinny black color shows lint and dust easily. WiFi not useful as you can only see if burner is on or off only. Timer volume is low as I cannot hear with vent on. An improvement would be if timer linked to the WiFi. Over all happy with purchase.
