I love this microwave, it’s quick and can do more than just reheat

Modern appearance no handles. The install was simple with very good templates showing where to drill and set the wall bracket. We are very happy with this purchase. I recommend this microwave to anyone.

My 25-year-old OTR finally stopped working and having had a very positive experience with a Sharp dishwasher, I bought this top-of-the-line Sharp SMART OTR with sensor cooking and I’m sure glad I did. I love it! First, it’s gorgeous with edge-to-edge black glass and bottom mounted controls that are easy to reach. With a [right-side] pocket-handle design it’s very easy to open and close. Unlike my old OTR, this has bright white LEDs throughout. It’s very easy to see what’s cooking inside and the bottom-mounted 6-LED light strip brightly lights up the counter underneath. The white LED digit clock display is very clear (the pictures don’t do it justice!). It’s my first SMART OTR. Set-up was a breeze—just scan a bar code and go through a few screens on your Alexa app. The instructions say that’s there 66 cooking commands but what I’m also excited about is that it has “auto-clock set” so in case of a power outage, the clock will automatically reset to the correct time when power is restored. Operationally, I couldn’t be happier. It cooks great with sensor cooking that uses a humidity sensor to automatically set the cooking algorithm and it’s very quiet. The one-touch express cook keys operate in 1-minute increments and there’s a +30 second key. About the only negative is that because it has a large 1.9 Cu.Ft capacity, it sticks out a bit from the cabinet though that would be a benefit if it was installed over a stove so that the exhaust fan could best cover the entire cooktop below. To top it off, I was able to pick it up on sale. Overall, I highly recommend this model!

Liked the looks but it did not work when installed. Appliance dealer said that Sharp insisted on repair instead of replacement. Techs could not make it work so we had to buy a different new microwave. Poor quality control.
