Disappointed in almost everything about this. Not only did it take 3 hours to take the thermowrap plastic off of every single stainless steel piece included in the box, but as I was cleaning it I noticed that both corners on the front piece of the hood had cracks in them. We had this sitting in the box for just over 30 days as our kitchen reno got delayed, and of course after 30 days Wayfair will not do anything even if there is something wrong with the product. After installing and hooking up the light, I turned it on and it is a horrible bluepurple color that looks almost like a black light. Not something warm and inviting you want in your kitchen, nor does it provide much actual light to help visibility either. There are also no instructions on how to assemble some of the pieces so it was a guessing game trying to put it together. The only positive is that the overall piece looks decent in the kitchen space.

We really needed this SNDOAS convertible wall mount range hood for our mid-century home kitchen. As you can see in the last photo, that is the hood we presently have. Needless to say, we are not fond of the looks AND it barely catches the smoke of the food we cook. We can’t wait to get the new hood up. We are waiting for our HVAC contractor to come out to install it. When it is up, I will post before and after pictures of it. I only gave it 4 stars, because I love the look, but I don’t know if it works well yet. I will upgrade the stars if the pull is good. Update We had the contractor install our range hood. It is so pretty, and it works great. We like the fan—it works so much better than our old one. I upgraded the stars to a 5 star rating. On the right and left front of the hood is a feature where you can wave your hand like “wax on, wax off” to turn on or turn off the fan and light. It is cool, because it keeps fingerprints off the aluminum!

This thing is top notch its absolutely the best you can expect. I am Soo impressed with it. I did not expect it to be this quality. Its restaurant quality.snd not to mention the look is absolutely beautiful

Received damaged. Gesture feature is hit or miss, doesnt work most of the time. Update: One week of use and the motor is sounding as if its going to blast. Very bad. 0 Start.
