It is self cleaning which makes everyone happy, and holds around 40lbs of ice. The machine makes the ice one tray at a time, so it's always replacing the ice as you use it, you will never run out of ice again! Fits perfectly on my counter and looks good on there too, I definitely recommend this product.

My freezer ice maker recently died on me a few months ago and we have been having to buy bags of ice which can add up when you go through a lot of ice like my household does. Making ice in ice trays also just takes up to much time, but now that we have this ice maker we have ice with in 20 minutes! It can make up to 45 pounds of ice with in 24 hours which is amazing. There’s no running out of ice with this machine. Another great feature is it has a self cleaning mode so there is no mold build up from water sitting. Overall I would absolutely recommend this product to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not the first icemaker I have owned. All of my previous ones have been disappointing. They either have two small a capacity or do not make the ice completely frozen. This machine came in great packaging with extremely good instructions. The set up an installation of the unit was very simple and took less than five minutes. It is a very nice looking countertop device and does not look ugly like some of the air fires I see on peoples counters. It was easy to fill the unit up and once I plugged it in it made ice in half the time of any previous icemaker I have ever used. The ice is a great size and density and this is important because some other ice makers make ice that melts very quickly. The more dense the ice, the better it is for whatever you are using it for. The item is very durable and very easy to use. I wish all my kitchen appliances were so easy and rewarding.

I am so pleased with how fast it makes ice and I absolutely love that it does not require alot of counter space. Highly recommend to others!
