30" Elite 439 CFM Convertible Wall Mount Range Hood in Stainless Steel WE106B30D

We have a bulk head in our kitchen so I had to do a lot of research to find a Range Hood that was short enough to still have enough clearance from the stove top. I was excited when I found this item, because it fit the specs I needed and it got good enough reviews and looks nice. However, I received a cosmetically damaged item, as well as an item that doesn't work properly. The directions for the operations of the hood are poor at best. Our fan turns off and then back on, save yourself the trouble and get a hood that just has standard buttons with different speeds, instead of a touchpad. Pros: Looks nice (Minus the dent my contractor had to fix luckily it was on the backside, so you can't see it), suction is good and it fits perfectly in a short ceiling area. Cons: came dented, directions aren't good and it doesn't work properly. When I turn it on, the fan is possessed and doesn't just work like intended. It will shut off when I need it to work and then turn on when I don't need it to work.

I needed a short chimney and they are very hard to find. I finally found this one and it’s perfect!

Fantastic I had to modify it slightly to allow it to fit into an existing hole leading to the chimney from an old wooden stove. After all that, works amazing and looks fantastic!

I bought this kitchen hood a month ago but hadn’t used it for anything with a strong smell until recently. It’s extremely loud, so I assumed it was working. But I soon realized that while it makes a lot of noise, it doesn’t actually do its job — it doesn’t pull in any air, and the smell spreads throughout the entire house. Was very difficult to install!!!!! I tried to return it, but for some reason, website doesn’t let me apply for return. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Kitchen not quite finished. Can hear the fan but this is as expected.
