Ordered all appliances for a kitchen remodeling job and appliance company did not include the motor for the the down draft. We looked on Wayfair and there it was and shipping was snappy so we were able to proceed with the setup of the stove and new down draft! Thank you Wayfair!

Very solid heavy duty blower, still waiting on telescoping down draft to be delivered but it looks fairly easy to install. Anyone purchasing it needs to find 8” ducting for the venting not many places carry that in stock and needs to be ordered too.

Heavy duty, well packaged on arrival. Will complement our new down draft system perfectly.

Buy this as it is just the Bosch DHG602 for 400 bucks cheaper and is absolutely identical in every way!

Easy install and extremely quiet and well balanced. Installed on a 10 year old Thermador downdraft unit.

We needed a 600CFM blower because we could not fit 10" ductwork into the available space. This unit has several mounting options for the zephry downvent and worked very well for our island configuration.

It is stronger and quieter than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. No problems with installation

TLDR this isn’t really an in-line blower because it forces you to turn a right angle. The motor is quiet, relatively cheap and well constructed. It requires 8” pipe which is huge, AND a right angle if you’re installing it in-line. We tried to install inline in our floor joists but the angle of the machine made impossible. I suppose this works well for situations where you need to turn an angle (or install on the back of the lift unit itself) but zephr doesn’t make an actual pass through in-line 600cfm blower motor (and they customer service is no help for comparability with other brands or options). The only other option is the 1000cfm which is huge, and wouldn’t fit between most floor joists. We’re going to end up using the external 1000cfm motor with a reducer to 8” (very grande) once that comes in stock. Bummer they don’t make this configurable to do a straight pass through for in-line installations, or have a compatibility with other motors that are.

Much cheaper than thermador and worked just as well.
