This chimney kit was the perfect solution for our low ceiling. We paired it with the KE2i island hood and together they are the star of our kitchen. I wish ZLINE would sell the base hood separate from the chimney though. It seemed like a huge waste of resources to discard the standard chimney that ships with the hood, but it was extremely difficult to reduce the size of the standard chimney brackets. So we purchased the short kit which did the trick. I'm happy with it! It just seemed a bit too wasteful.

It did what it was designed to do but be careful taking the wrapping off. We mistakenly pulled it apart just taking the wrapping off.

Worked perfectly for my 8ft ceiling the 16” would have had to be cut not an easy task

No one had this item i the local home improvement store. I found it here and it’s great.
