Looks like a great hood. Just got it unpacked and not yet installed. Sad to see its dented. Not what I expected. Will add another review after using it.

I installed this in a vent free mode. It was a pain to install because of its weight. We had to configure 5 gallon buckets with add'l wood planks to get it close to height of existing framing before mounting it. Now, after enjoying it for a year, we love everything about it and the installation woes are only a faint memory.

More at least one light would be better. It's the right size for my needs.

Looks beautiful! Arrived in great condition. Was super easy to install. I like that it can with the charcoal filters to recirculate in the house if you can’t install duct work. I like that you don’t have to unnecessarily cut a big hole in the cabinet even if using as ductless. Only thing it doesn’t feel as powerful as I’d like. The led lights are a yellow amber ish color I don’t like. I’ll just live with it.

Directions are not very clear on how to install for a horizontal exhaust.
